Treating pot roses
- A pot rose likes it very much in full sunlight because it loves a lot of light.
- If the potting plants are standing in full sunlight they need a lot of water. In summer daily; In winter twice a week.
- Three weeks after purchasing you must give the potting- plant a little bit extra nutrition and repeat that regularly (twice a month).
- After the flowering period you must cut the branches back until av. 2 inch higher the top of the pot.
- You can use the pot roses also as a terrace plant, take care you give sufficient water.
- You can also plant them in the garden, a little frost is harmless.
- A last advice: If you think it's boring the repeating watering of the pot rose, you can repot them in a bigger pot size; the roots have more water reservoir so you don't have to irrigate them so often.
Remembering this treating rules, you will join your purchased potrose ultimately.
Good luck and have fun!
